Abdel El Hamri is Vice President of Marketing for Pepe Jeans. He joined AWWG in April 2026 to lead the brand’s global marketing and communications strategy, with a focus on strengthening brand positioning, deepening consumer engagement and supporting its next phase of growth.
With more than 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, Abdel has built his career shaping brands at scale, combining creativity, cultural relevance and commercial impact. Throughout his career, he has led global teams across Europe and the United States and developed integrated global marketing strategies to drive brand desirability and business performance.
Prior to joining AWWG, Abdel spent over 15 years at Tommy Hilfiger, where he held several senior leadership roles in marketing and communications, most recently as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing & Communications, before going on to lead his own consulting business focused on fashion, lifestyle, entertainment and technology.
He brings a wealth of knowledge and strong expertise in brand building, digital transformation and organisational leadership, with a clear focus on translating strategy into impact.
Abdel studied International Business and Languages in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and completed a Global Executive Leadership Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the United States.
