The global fashion group AWWG cements its commitment to train future generations by signing a collaboration agreement with ISEM Fashion Business School, the first business school specialising exclusively in fashion companies in Spain.
Marcella Wartenbergh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AWWG, and Teresa Sádaba, Dean of ISEM, have signed the agreement between the two institutions. With it, AWWG will support several initiatives such as the scholarship programme for business students, as well as hands-on experience into the workings of a company that strives to position itself at the forefront of innovation in the fashion industry.
The agreement will also provide support to the business school’s research projects, and will facilitate the transition of students into the labour market upon graduation. Part of a programme AWWG has been promoting over the last few years, this collaboration will also offer students learning opportunities during their studies, and will help kick-start their professional careers.
“At AWWG we are committed to the development of the fashion industry. Our experience of more than 30 years working with renowned brands allows us to share our know-how with future professionals to boost their leadership and negotiation skills and thus grow successfully in the fashion sector. Through this agreement, we formalise our long and solid relationship with ISEM”, says Marcella Wartenbergh.
For her part, Teresa Sádaba has defined the key to this agreement for the school: “The specific aspect of the training we provide at ISEM is the orientation towards fashion from a business and company point of view. The relationship with the industry is especially important for our work and, to a large extent, this is possible thanks to agreements such as this one with AWWG”.
Thanks to the Chairs, ISEM fulfils its mission to achieve academic excellence without losing sight of the needs of the business community. In this way, AWWG joins the group of fashion companies that financially support ISEM’s activities, including Inditex, El Corte Inglés, Tendam, Multiópticas and Saga Furs.
