As Chief Product Officer (CPO) of Pepe Jeans, Paola will be responsible for leading the strategy of strengthening Pepe Jeans collections in order to grow the brand, while preserving the iconic brand’s DNA and British values.
The global fashion group AWWG, strengthens its team with the appointment of Paola Maestro de la Calera as Chief Product Officer of Pepe Jeans. This new addition to AWWG is part of the group’s strategy to elevate the Pepe Jeans brand, taking advantage of the great potential offered by all its product categories and channels to enhance its growth, while preserving its DNA and values.
In her new role Paola will be responsible for leading the strategy of strengthening Pepe Jeans collections with products that offer the right value proposition for both customers and the business. Product design and development and full production will be under her strategic vision and leadership.
Paola will report directly to the CEO, Marcella Wartenbergh, and will work closely with different teams and licensing partners to reinforce the brand’s iconic British DNA and deliver a cohesive brand message. Continuing AWWG’s transformation, the position of CPO to Pepe Jeans London is key to maximizing the brand’s global potential.
Born in Spain, Paola studied in Milan and later moved to the Netherlands. During her 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, Paola has worked for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and McGregor. She has extensive international experience in leading 360º product teams, from brand vision to strategic consumer sensitivity. She has a strong knowledge of design and a professional profile closely linked to product.
